The Hollywood Institute has been owned and governed by Fred and Ann Tosti since 1974. Previous to moving to Florida, Fred and Ann operated four Beauty Schools in the New York area. Fred has been a cosmetologist since 1954, and opened his first School in 1963. He currently holds a license to teach Cosmetology. He also holds a certificate to direct a private school from New York University. Ann Tosti, Director of the Institute, has been an Electrologist since 1974. She is licensed by the Florida Electrolysis Council and Board Certified by the American Electrology Association and the Society of Clinical and Medical Electrologists. Ms. Tosti has served as an Electrolysis Consultant for the Department of Business and Professional Regulations. Her dedication to the profession is supported by the many successful graduates currently working in the field, throughout the World. |

The Hollywood Institute maintains twenty-six hundred (2,600) square feet, state of the art facilities, located just two blocks east of Interstate 95. The school is equipped with the latest Skin care, Electrolysis and Nail equipment for our students to practice with. Our ultra modern facilities house classrooms, practical clinical and private treatment rooms that allows the most up to date teaching methods. The Hollywood Institute is proud of it's small specialized classes where students can receive personalized attention. Downtown Hollywood and beautiful Hollywood beach is minutes away where students can enjoy a relaxed lunch break or an evening stroll on the beach.

| If your looking for a new career or are considering changing professions, consider Electrology for your future! As a trained and/or licensed Electrologist you will be able to set up your own business. According to the International Guild Of Professional Electrologists, most Electrologists make over $50,000 per year. One of the advantages of this profession is that you can schedule your appointments at times that fit your own personal time frame.
